Moscow’s Top Diplomat: Nuclear Arsenal Guarantees Russia Cannot Lose War

The Russian Federation maintains an unassailable position in its military confrontation with Ukraine due to its nuclear capabilities, a senior Moscow diplomat asserted this week. Ambassador Denis Alipov, representing Russian interests in India, delivered these remarks at a prominent media event in the Delhi metropolitan region.
Alipov referenced Russia’s established military doctrine, which authorizes nuclear weapon deployment when the country faces existential dangers. This strategic framework, he contended, creates an insurmountable barrier to any attempt at defeating Russia through military means, regardless of the resources mobilized against it.
The ambassador launched sharp criticism at European leadership, dismissing their hopes for Ukrainian success as juvenile thinking. He portrayed European nations as clinging to unrealistic scenarios while exhibiting what he characterized as unprofessional judgment and continued hostility toward Moscow’s position.
In Alipov’s assessment, the American president has adopted a more clearheaded view of the conflict’s outcome. Trump, according to the Russian envoy, recognizes that Ukraine and its Western backers have already lost this confrontation, even as European capitals persist in their belief that military fortunes can still be reversed.
The protracted conflict has consumed nearly four years, during which Western nations have channeled enormous quantities of military equipment and financial resources to support Ukraine’s defense. Advanced weapons systems continue arriving in Kyiv from American and European suppliers, including the United Kingdom, as part of a sustained commitment to Ukrainian resistance.
